7 servings at Tiger Lily in Papirøen — A former Michelin chef leads this canalside restaurant with Pan-Asian expressions and fine dining flair
Tiger Lily is where the flavors of Southeast and East Asia meet the fire of an open kitchen and the touch of a former Michelin chef. Set along the water in Papirøen, chef Stephan Erletz builds a menu pulsing with smoke, sweetness, and plenty of heat.
A bite of betel leaf topped with prawn and coconut caramel kicks things off. Hamachi sashimi lifted with green nuoc cham, a crunchy lo-mein salad, and caramelized pork-and-pineapple bites follow. From there: spicy pork belly burnt ends lacquered in BBQ caramel, grilled asparagus in red coconut curry, and jasmine rice to soak it all up. Dessert lands with coconut tapioca pudding, lychee-lime sorbet, and palm sugar caramel.
Pan-Asian flavors get a fresh voice at Tiger Lily.
