4 servings at Misterbianco Pasta Bar in Vesterbro — Copenhagen’s newest Italian restaurant serves Italy loud and warm inside graffiti-splashed walls
At the city’s latest Italian spot, orders are taken like conversations and the recommendations are deeply personal. Misterbianco Pasta Bar is the second act from the trio behind Misterbianco Pasta Lab. Only this time, things are louder, looser, and inspired by shared meals from the north to the south of Italy.
The Dolce Fatica menu opens with house focaccia and antipasti that rotate at the chef’s whim: aubergine parmigiana layered with tomato and mozzarella, burrata with mortadella and sea fennel, caponata with capers and olives. Then comes handmade pasta that speaks clearly of its roots. Genovese ragù, cacio e pepe, truffle-pesto pappardelle folded with king oyster and shiitake mushrooms. As it should, tiramisù closes the meal.
With graffiti-covered walls and generous servings, Misterbianco stands apart.
