ÅBEN doesn’t just care about exceptional beer—they care about where you drink it. From former waterfront factories to historic landmarks, ÅBEN transforms raw spaces into vibrant gathering places built around great beer. What began as a small-batch operation has grown into a modern standard, with taprooms across Copenhagen, Roskilde, and Aarhus pouring fresh releases straight from the Kødbyen HQ.
With up to 22 taps, ÅBEN’s bars serve generously hopped IPAs, full-bodied stouts, sours, and seasonal pours. Citrusy DIPAs heavy with exotic fruit and pine. Hazy New England IPAs with tropical swagger. Plush stouts layered with coffee, cacao, and vanilla. Kettle sours brewed with quince, pear, and vanilla. And crisp German pilsners.
