Debuted in March by friends Bram van der Mey and Walt Eggink, ROSÈL honors the classics with global flavors and chef Eggink’s refined technique. Spiced zucchini-feta soufflés are fried until crisp and layered between airy focaccia with herbed yogurt. The humble ham sandwich gets a decadent guanciale compote upgrade. Chocolate chip cookies are spiked with miso.
The grab-and-go sandwich shop’s wooden bar fills up fast. But located just steps from the Singel canal, you couldn’t ask for a better place to take things to go.
