To Øl is the tale of two friends, Tore and Tobias, who began brewing beer in their high school cantine back in 2005. Nearly two decades later, that youthful, innovative spirit is alive and well. The first commercial beer was released in 2010, and after several years of brewing in far-away facilities, they opened BRUS as a local brewery, bottle shop, and bar. Then in 2020, they hit a whole new level with To Øl City, a 26.000-square-meter brewing facility in Svinninge. Even still, everything is brewed in relatively small batches, so the beer selection rotates regularly. Thanks to their talented team, tank-to-tap is becoming the new farm-to-table, and it’s hard to find beer much fresher than this.
