Pick any two draft beers at Ølhaven – Hidden just a stone’s throw from Kongens Nytorv is a secret new oasis with Japandi vibes and Denmark’s best microbrews on tap

If we’ve learned anything from the team behind Neighbourhood, it’s to expect the unexpected, and their newest passion project is unlike anything Copenhagen has ever seen before. Just last week, they quietly opened the doors to a Japandi-inspired beer bar with a tranquil courtyard and 26 taps featuring Denmark’s best microbreweries. Handsewn fabrics hang in waves from the ceiling, 18th century wooden beams cut through the sleek aesthetic, and Japanese bonsai trees bring life to the raw wood decor. It’s serene, sophisticated, and still a bit of a secret. Seek out its location and you’ll discover one of the city’s most sublime spots for sipping the day away.

Pick any two draft beers at Ølhaven. Choose from 26 taps with everything from exclusive collab beers and new releases to core range favorites from Denmark’s best microbreweries. Drink the brand new Ølhaven x BRUS co-brew, a citrusy Yuzu Sour, or To Øl’s #DIPA with Cascade Citra and Simcoe hops. Taste ÅBEN’s summery Easy Peachy Ice Tea Sour brewed with Earl Grey tea and fresh peaches. Try an Alefarm Sunglow Pale Ale, Slowburn White Bloom Belgian Wit, or Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri Weissbier with a hint of sweetness. Sip a new brew from the up-and-coming brewery Seagrove Public, like a Both Wave Goodbye IPA with Mosaic, Ella, and Citra hops, or Going Gourmet Pale Ale with notes of stone fruit and juicy grapes. Get a Gamma Stacker Micro IPA, To Øl New Moon Porter, BRØL Better Together Sour, and more.

The voucher is redeemable at Ølhaven.
The voucher can be used from today until August 22, 2024.
Each voucher is good for two draft beers. Purchase one or more vouchers.

Tuesday - Thursday 15:00-24:00
Friday - Sunday 12:00-24:00

The beers are exclusively Danish, the whiskeys are Japanese, and the custom-designed decor lands somewhere in between. Leave the bustling city behind and enter Boltens Gård where you’ll find a hidden oasis – a bar reminiscent of a Japanese tea garden right in the heart of Copenhagen. True to form, the three brothers behind Neighbourhood dared to do things differently and drew inspiration from New York City’s casual hangout culture when creating Ølhaven. With no official website and an under-wraps location, you have to be in the know to find it, but this place is undoubtedly worth the hunt.
