FASTELAVN BUN RUN 2026

The pastry-fueled half marathon you’ve been waiting for all year is back—and bigger than ever.

The FASTELAVN BUN RUN is a social half marathon through Copenhagen’s streets, celebrating the city’s sweetest season alongside its best bakeries.

This year, we’ve designed two half marathon routes with 10 bakery stops each, refueling runners with old-school fastelavnsboller, semlor, and eclectic takes worth breaking a sweat for.

Both routes kick off at Flere Fugle in Nordvest on Sunday, February 1st, at 9:00.

We’ll run in three waves: advanced, intermediate, and beginner. 300 runners will be selected via lottery. Participation is free, and spots are raffled in pairs of two, so grab a worthy partner and start working up an appetite. Winners will be randomly assigned one of the two routes.
