Pick whatever you like at The Union Kitchen — Copenhagen’s all-day staple enters a new era across City Center, Østerbro, and Frederiksberg
Something feels different at The Union Kitchen. A name Copenhagen has known by heart for over a decade, the all-day mainstay steps into a new chapter with a lighter bistro feel and a sharpened point of view—without losing what made it a fixture in the first place.
The classics stay exactly where they belong. Eggs Benedict, shakshuka, and Søtofte yogurt with granola hold their place in the morning ritual. Mascarpone-topped French toast brings sweetness. Then come the bistro leanings: Peppercorn steak, wild sea bass with lemon butter, and a salade chèvre chaud. New additions like burrata with chili oil and brothy pork dumplings reflect the city’s evolving palate. Lemon sorbet crowned with burnt meringue keeps things sharp at the finish.
Coffee still gives way to cocktails, and a considered menu carries things forward. Just as it always has.
