Isoteket sits on Vesterbro’s central square, where a small shop opens out into the sun, cones move fast, and flavors move even faster. Trained in Bologna, Jeppe Villadsen set out to do things differently—breaking from tradition to build a small gelato shop that quickly became one of the continent’s most celebrated names.

Gelato is spun fresh throughout the day, with 15 to 20 flavors in rotation at a time, drawn from a repertoire of more than 200. On the creamy side, expect deep chocolate, pistachio made with Italian pistachio paste, hazelnut with bergamot, or lemon ice cream threaded with poppy seeds. Unexpected combinations like beetroot with lime and star anise push things further. The sorbets land bright, sharp, and just as rich: strawberry, coconut lime, passionfruit vanilla, and rhubarb.
