Partnerships and Events Manager
COPENHAGEN
Full-time, 37 hours per week
Start date: As soon as possible
TIPSTER is looking for a Partnerships & Events Manager to shape, secure, and deliver the drops, pop-ups, and events we bring to hundreds of thousands of community members. Working closely with our leadership and operations team, you’ll build lasting relationships with hospitality partners, negotiate collaborations, and take an active role in bringing them to life.
TIPSTER is on a mission to change how people discover food and drink. Our drops are curated, limited-time offers that connect our community with exceptional food-and-beverage concepts. Alongside collaborations with names such as Gasoline Grill, Ceres, and Atelier September, we create events and pop-ups around the world, including our BAKERY RUN series.
This is a hands-on role for someone with experience in hospitality and sales who is as comfortable closing a sale as they are helping run an event. You’ll have a direct influence on who we work with and what our community gets to experience, with your focus shifting between sales and events throughout the year.
YOU WILL
- Identify and approach restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and other hospitality concepts for drops.
- Develop and pitch drop concepts, negotiate terms, and secure agreements with partners.
- Build and maintain long-term partner relationships, developing opportunities for repeat collaborations.
- Help develop new event and pop-up concepts and research potential venues and partners.
- Coordinate with venues, partners, and suppliers to keep plans, timelines, and practical details on track.
- Take part in the hands-on execution of events and pop-ups, from preparation and setup to on-site operations and follow-up.
All work will take place at our office in Frederiksberg.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experienced in sales, with 2-4 years of relevant professional experience and a background in the restaurant or food-and-beverage industry (e.g., you have a wine sales rep background or similar).
- Outgoing and confident in approaching new partners, with a strong instinct for building lasting relationships.
- Genuinely interested in restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and the people behind them.
- Commercially minded and comfortable pitching ideas, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage several collaborations at different stages.
- Proactive and dependable, taking ownership of tasks and following them through to completion.
- Comfortable balancing relationship building and sales with practical, hands-on event work.
- Adaptable when priorities shift and eager to develop your skills in partnerships and events.
WHAT TIPSTER OFFERS
- A direct role in shaping how our community discovers great places around the world through drops, events, and pop-ups.
- A place on a team challenging how people discover and experience food and drink.
- Responsibility and opportunities to grow from day one.
- The opportunity to build long-term relationships with some of the world’s best restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and food-and-beverage concepts.
- A varied working day that combines commercial responsibility, creative development, and hands-on execution.
- An informal, collaborative workplace with a small, globally active team.
