Most galleries ask you to look. Two Story invites you to stay for breakfast. Linde Brentjens and Justus Klabou transformed the 18th-century canal house into a two-story space where specialty coffee, fresh bakes, and emerging artists are part of the same morning.
On the plate: Whipped butter, aged cheese, and a soft-boiled egg accompany sourdough from Louf. Poffertjes arrive with Greek yogurt and seasonal compote. Braised mushrooms meet a cloud of parmesan on toast. Behind the bar, Un.common coffee and ceremonial matcha from KŪKAI. Olive oil granola, miso white chocolate cookies, and caramelized banana bread round out a menu that changes as often as the art on the walls.
Kitchen downstairs. Art upstairs. No wrong place to start.
